Equipment Application

This machine is primarily used for the milling of continuous casting machine billets. Common billet materials include Q345, Q355, and nickel-based steels, with a hardness of HRC 30-40. This CNC milling machine features an automatic measurement function and dual milling heads. It is designed with two workstations and a gantry-moving structure, while the machining table remains stationary. While one workstation is performing cutting, the other can be used for loading and unloading workpieces (equipped with safety isolation measures). The fixtures are lightweight, movable, and easy to disassemble and assemble, which significantly reduces auxiliary time.

Machining Accuracy:

The surface finish of the milled billets reaches Ra 6.3. The step height at the tool path transition is ≤ 0.1 mm; the diagonal deviation is ≤ 2 mm; and the length difference between the two sides is ≤ 1 mm. During and after the milling process, the workpiece surface must be free from any contamination, such as oil stains or other pollutants.

This machine tool is suitable for high-power, heavy-duty cutting of various plates, offering high machining stability and precision. It is widely applied in industries such as steel structures, bridges, pressure vessels, chemical and environmental protection, engineering machinery, and shipbuilding. The machining process is fully CNC-controlled for convenient operation, enabling automated, high-precision, multi-product, and batch production.
